At Pickles, we provide a monthly subscription service for flea and worming treatments. With this convenient option, you can have the treatment delivered to your doorstep every month. If you have a preferred treatment or your pet has an intolerance to any treatments please let one of our staff know.

The subscription is based on the size and species of your pet, and so the prices do vary.

Treatments used: Dogs

For dogs, we prefer to use Credelio Plus and Droncit. This combination of products protects your dog from the wide range of potential parasites they can acquire. We also have spot on treatments for the dogs who are sneaky and refuse to eat tablets.

Worming

The standard worming treatment we use is Droncit. For dogs we recommend every 6 months usually. If you walk your dog in rural areas a lot or near any live-stock then we would recommend every 3 months. We also recommend worming more regularly if you feed your dog a raw diet. If you usually stay in the city then every 6 months will suffice. For cats we recommend every 3 months if they are known hunters.

Puppy or Kitten

Whilst your puppy or kitten is growing we will ask that you weigh them monthly. This can be done at home or you are always welcome to pop by the clinic to use our scales. We ask this to ensure that the correct dosage of the treatment is given in order for your pet to be fully covered.

Delivery

To ensure your monthly treatment reaches your doorstep, we rely on Royal Mail. While we strive to maintain a consistent delivery schedule, occasional delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, particularly with Royal Mail. If the treatment is a little late don’t worry! It is still safe for your pet even if it is a few days late. Please contact our team if you are concerned with any delays, and we will promptly investigate the status for you.
