At Pickles, we have a no-show and cancellation policy to ensure we’re here when you need us most. To support this, we’re introducing a 3-strike policy for appointments.
No Show: If you miss an appointment without notice, a strike will be added to your account.
Cancellation: We require notice of any changes or cancellations by 6pm the day before your scheduled appointment. Changes or cancellations after this time will result in a strike being added to your account.
After three strikes, a £50 fee will apply, which must be paid before booking your next appointment. Strikes are removed from accounts after one year.
We understand that unexpected events happen, but repeated no-shows and late cancellations impact our ability to provide timely care. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
When you book a procedure with us, your date and time are confirmed with the Pickles team, and a dedicated slot is reserved just for your pet.
As this time is set aside exclusively for you, please be aware that if you cancel within 48 hours of the procedure, or decline to go ahead on the day, a fee of 50% of the procedure estimate will apply. This is simply because it wouldn’t be possible for us to offer the slot to another patient at such short notice.
We know that unforeseen situations may occur, and we’ll take this into account where appropriate.
Please don’t worry — if our clinical team decide that the procedure should not go ahead for medical reasons, this fee will not apply.
