Registering your pet’s microchip is a simple process and an important step in keeping them safe. This guide will walk you through how to register your pet's microchip with Identibase.

1. Check Your Email for Registration Instructions

Once we have registered the microchip with your details, you should receive an email from Identibase. This email contains all the necessary instructions to set up and manage your account. It will include a link that will direct you to the online registration form.

2. Completing the Online Registration Form

Click on the link provided in the email to open the registration form. You will need to confirm the following details:

  • Pet Information: Make sure the details about your pet (name, breed, date of birth, etc.) are correct.

  • Owner Information: Ensure your contact information is accurate, as this will be used in case your pet is found.

3. Veterinary Practice Code

During registration, you will be asked to provide a vet code. If you have one, you can enter it in the designated field. If you don’t have a vet code, there is an option to click on “Don't have a vet code.”

However, if you would like to add our vet code for completeness, please use the following code: A11456. This helps link your pet’s microchip to our veterinary practice, ensuring quick access to important information if needed.

4. Finalising the Registration

Once you’ve reviewed and confirmed all the information, submit the form. Your account will now be active, and you can manage your pet's microchip details online via the Identibase portal.

For more details or further support, you can visit Identibase's Help Centre.
